Stephanie Holland, PsyD., is dedicated to providing psychological services to the greater Las Vegas Valley. She began her private practice in 1998, specializing in working with at-risk children and families. By 1999, she began working alongside family court to provide comprehensive evaluations and assessments to assist families in high conflict divorces.
While working with youth in foster care, she co-founded a non-profit organization, Child Focus, which provides services and resources to children in foster care and their families. The sole vision of the program is sibling preservation, which allows brothers and sisters to maintain healthy relationships during the years that they are separated. Child Focus’ vision has been integrated into the services provided by St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.
Stephanie Holland, PsyD., shifted her practice over the years to focus on forensic evaluations for Family and Civil Court. In addition to providing these services, she has conducted several professional presentations regarding her knowledge and expertise in remedying alienation in high conflict divorces cases and the psychological effects these situations have on children as well as published articles in similar areas.
For the past five years, she held the position of Exam Commissioner for the State Board of Psychological Examiners, overseeing the preparation and development of the psychological state examination. In 2018, she was appointed by Governor Brian Sandoval as a Board Member for the State of Nevada Board of Psychological Examiners, which is responsible for the regulation and professional conduct of individuals in the psychological field.
Her education, training, and experiences have been focused on areas of expertise pertaining to parental capacity, high conflict families and child development issues. She shares her knowledge and experiences with psychological interns as her private practice has been affiliated with the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers for the past five years. Her goal is to prepare competency and capable individuals to provide essential psychological services the community.
In response to much needed services for youth in the community, Stephanie Holland, PsyD., is working alongside other area providers to establish a new 501(c)(3) organization known as Wake Up. This non-profit is dedicated to providing vocational rehabilitative services to adjudicated youth. The mission is to empower youth to discover inspiration and overcome any obstacles in reaching their career goals.
Stephanie Holland, PsyD., received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Distinction from the University of Las Vegas Nevada followed by a Master of Art in Psychology. She received her Doctorate in Psychology form the California School of Professional Psychology in 1996.
